Sasha Pachev is the lead developer for MySQL replication. He is well known in the MySQL community for his in-depth expertise in MySQL technicalities. He has a degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University. Sasha lives in Provo, Utah, developing MySQL out of his home office, as does everyone on the MySQL team.
