Jeff "japhy" Pinyan is a sophomore at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, in
Troy, NY. He's taking a semester off to work at RiskMetrics Group, Inc.,
a financial software development firm on Wall St. He's been programming
in Perl for four years; he's written articles for PerlMonth.com,
