Prior to co-founding Contec Innovations, Schmidt owned and operated a successful consulting business based in Vancouver, Canada and Frankfurt, Germany that focused on Internet security and telecommunication gateway solutions. He has successfully led a diverse set of software development and consulting projects for the Telecommunications and Information Technology industries.
