Introducing Apache Xindice
Simon St.Laurent, O'Reilly Media, Inc.

Track: XML
Date: Wednesday, July 24
Time: 10:45am - 11:30am
Location: Marina II

In late 2001, the dbXML Project was introduced into the Apache Software Foundation, and became Xindice, a native XML database that serves as the core storage engine for several of the Apache XML projects.

This presentation introduces Apache Xindice in the context of the Apache XML projects, and briefly covers nearly every aspect of administering and using the server.

Command line tools, and programming will be covered, including the XML:DB API, and the use of SOAP and XML-RPC to access the server.
