Parrot is a virtual machine used to efficiently execute bytecode for interpreted languages. This talk will cover the issues involved in targetting Parrot with the compiler for an existing language (that is, getting existing languages to run under Parrot). Issues in converting other bytecode formats (such as for the Java Virtual Machine) to Parrot will also be covered.
