PHP is one of the most popular scripting languages for developing dynamic web applications. This indepth and fast-moving tutorial will introduce the language and touch on most of the available features including concepts such as dynamic image generation, XML/XSL/XSLT, LDAP, SNMP, database support, templating, content management and many other things. Rasmus Lerdorf has been designing large-scale UNIX-based solutions since 1989 and is well-known as the creator of the PHP scripting language. He is the coauthor of Programming PHP and the author of PHP Pocket Reference.
