The purpose of this tutorial is to explore some of the challenges of integrating databases into the web space, without imposing restrictions based on toolset. We will integrate data from a couple different databases into a demonstration intranet, and show how that integration provides additional flexibility and insight to web users.
The demonstrations will show how the technique applies to data in several different database systems, as well as how to integrate disparate systems seamlessly.
