Automated Java Unit Testing
Jesse Tilly

Track: Java
Date: Wednesday, July 24
Time: 2:30pm - 3:15pm
Location: Marina III

Historically, internal application testing was a big, time consuming, boring, and otherwise acutely painful activity (when we weren't able to weasel out of it :-). Today, better lanugages along with better tools and development processes have brought us out of the dark ages -- not only can we eliminate the drudgery of testing but we can fulfill the promises of testing and increase our overall productivity!

This session will introduce the efficient and effective use of Java technology based unit-testing tools and framework. In particular, the session will focus on the particulars of the open-source JUnit framework.
