Rick Tatem, SAS Institute

If you're using Windows 2000, you're going to be busy with Microsoft's Active Directory. The Active Directory is deeply intertwined with not just the general OS, but with enterprise applications like Microsoft Exchange 2000 and Internet Information Server. Using Perl, it's easier to approach Active Directory from several fronts: NT desktops & servers, the web, and even Unix/Linux. This presentation will delve into how Perl can help you access, manage, and even extend Active Directory. Perl in ActiveX controls, perl in Active Server Pages, perl actively managing directory objects (users, groups, and contacts). You should be actively using Perl with your Active Directory tasks!
