BOF

Subversion, a new version control system
Greg Stein, Google

Track: BOF
Date: Wednesday, July 24
Time: 8:00pm - 9:00pm
Location: Grande Ballroom C

Moderated by: Greg Stein, CollabNet, Inc.

In this BOF, we'll talk about the Subversion version control system, a replacement for CVS. We'll cover the basics, how Subversion improves over CVS, and what some of the differences are. We'll cover additional facets of Subversion, such as its library-based focus which enables third-party apps and extensions, and we'll cover its WebDAV-based networking facilities. Of course, we'll also talk about its current development status, schedule, and release plans.
