The initial concept for the Maguma Enterprise Environment for PHP was to advocate good web site architecture and best practices for web site production. The analysis of PHP development and production scenarios led to a distributed server side connected to the client side IDE via CVS. The result was the Maguma Server and Maguma Studio Pro. Design, implementation, and future directions for this system are discussed.
