We'll talk about how O'Reilly chooses which subjects look like good targets for publishing and how best to distinguish yourself from the crowd.

We'll also discuss how the writing process works, particularly the roles of writers, editors, tech reviewers, and the production staff, and what you should expect as you get deeper into the work.
