Track: BOF

Time: 6:00pm - 7:00pm
Location: Marina III

Moderated by: Zaheda Bhorat, Sun Microsystems, OpenOffice.org Project

OpenOffice.org (OOo) was announced by Sun Microsystems at the OReilly OSCON 2002 and has evolved from being the largest open project with source code contribution of 7.5 million lines to one of the most successful and key open source projects. OpenOffice.org 1.0 is a full-featured, multi-lingual, multi-platform office suite developed by a global community which uses XML file formats. The OSCON OOo BOF session is a community discussion, come and learn about the project, the open source office suite and about participation in one of the coolest open source projects around.
