Jason Evans is a senior engineer in the BSD Technologies group at Apple,
where he works to maintain and enhance the Open Source Unix underpinnings
of Mac OS X. He has spent the past year in this role, and was involved
with the FreeBSD Project for several years before that, where he worked on
POSIX threading and SMP enhancements. In addition to multi-threading, his
areas of interest include manual and automatic memory management.
