Adam Turoff
Track: XML
Date: Thursday, July 10
Time: 2:30pm - 3:15pm
Location: Columbia
XSLT is an easy way to process XML documents. Unfortunately, it is a programming language unlike more traditional imperative or object oriented programming languages. Turoff describes and demystifies an iterative process for designing and extending XSLT stylesheets.
Topics include:
- Using and relying on default templates
- Iterative stylesheet design and implementation
- Common templates useful for debugging
- Subclassing through customization layers
- Developing reusable stylesheets
