The Tao of CGI
Jeff D. Almeida, HRsmart

Track: Apache
Date: Thursday, July 10
Time: 5:15pm - 6:00pm
Location: Salon F

Much of what are considered exciting methodologies from a CS perspective are not neccessarily the most effective way to deliver solutions in a CGI environment, where efficiencies such as speed of compilation take precedent over technical niceties such as polymorphism. Thus, nature causes us to take a different approach to delivering CGI-based solutions than those in other coding environments. Almeida explores the "natural way" CGI scripts invite us to write them, to maximize the potential harmonies between code and environment, especially dealing with the enhanced CGI environments Apache affords.
