Bruns will present an in-depth description of Prospero's experience in implementing the Jabber open protocol in a previously proprietary setting. He will also show how Jabber has expanded the reach and usefulness of the real-time communication components of the Prospero platform; and will discuss some of the considerations in achieving balance among customer requirements, online community dynamics, and Jabber's open-protocol approach.
