Terry Bollinger
Terry Bollinger is an IT analyst for The MITRE Corporation, a non-profit technical consulting organization that works closely with the Department of Defense. He is the primary author of a recent widely-read report documenting use of free (or open source) software (FOSS) in the U.S. Department of Defense, and he is also the author of the Wiley Encyclopedia of Software Engineering article on Linux and open source. Bollinger was co-editor of an issue of IEEE Software on open source software, and he was Assistant Editor-in-Chief for IEEE Software for software construction. Bollinger received an IEEE Millennium Medal for his many years of service to the software community, and he was a co-recipient of the Potomac Forum Leadership Award for his work on open source.
