This talk is designed to educate those new to PHP of the ways to handle the most common aspect of any application: user input. Generally, user input is accepted into PHP through the use of HTML forms. Unfortunately, without the proper knowledge, these forms can lead to PHP scripting disasters. This talk will cover everything you could ever want to know about HTML forms and PHP, including data validation, data security, file uploading, and the development of multi-page HTML forms.
Check out Coggeshall's recent ONLamp article, Using MySQL from PHP.
