There are many available open source anti spam tools. However, use of these tools by themselves or in tandem can be cumbersome. In this session I will show how I developed a web-based spam filtering content system using tools like Spamassassin, MIMEDefang, MySQL and Perl. The web based GUI allows anyone with limited knowledge of programming and configuration to manage a spam filtering system. This system was designed to be as effective as commercial equivalents. This session is a general example of how you can use open source instead of commercial software to solve your spam problems.
