W3C XForms has seen an explosion in popularity in the last year. This session goes inside the popular W3C XForms standard, examining it from two different viewpoints.
The first is a general introduction to the principles and technologies underlying XForms, suitable for beginners, though even experts might come away with some fresh insights. Live demos with "View Source" analysis are included.
The second examines how an online XForms validator is structured including discussion of some of the challenges associated with mixed XML vocabulary languages. Common XML authoring errors will be discussed,with ways to diagnose and avoid such problems for trouble-free XForms authoring.
