This presentation gives the basics of Aspect Oriented Programming and how it can be as an additional complimentary paradigm to make developing your applications easier. As a specific example, the presentation walks the audience through how AOP can greatly simplify middleware development and gives JBoss 4's framework and middleware aspects as specific examples. A basic understanding of Java and what J2EE has to offer is desirable.
