Developing web applications is a quick and convenient way of building applications for targeted users, whether in Intranets or for users at large. The difficulty many developers face is the limiting constraints of HTML, page refreshes, and weak client-side forms support.
By combining Mozilla's XUL development platform with the existing web server application model, the transition from thin client to rich client can be made easily. Powerful client interfaces can be constructed leveraging the highly successful web development design patterns, while meeting increased demands for user expectations as well as user friendliness. This talk will focus on the techniques and technologies that make exposing a web application to a rich client application possible.
