This BOF will provide a quick overview of XMLBeans, how it is similar/dissimilar to other java/xml binding strategies, and it's advantages and potential disadvantages. The bulk of the BOF will be to discuss specific coding examples using XMLBeans. From straightforward XML Schema forms to the more complex Schema features such as any, substitution groups, and type substitution. A fundamental objective of XMLBeans is to handle ALL of XML Schema and XML Infoset however it is not always clear how to take advantage of this capability. The goal of this BOF will be to give you the basis for considering XMLBeans as an XML/Java binding strategy and to take advantage of the full feature set of XMLBeans. m
