SCons is a next-generation software build tool that makes cross-platform, multi-language builds significantly easier and more reliable. A growing number of companies and projects are adopting SCons for their builds, including Blender, id Software, National Instruments, NCAR, Rekall and many others.
This BoF will cover recent SCons developments and future directions, including possible offering of commercial SCons support and/or formation of a nonprofit corporation to oversee SCons development.
