John Viega
John Viega is CTO of Secure Software, which provides process and static analysis technology to help development teams build secure applications. John's the co-author of "Building Secure Software," the "Secure Programming Cookbook," "Network Security with OpenSSL," and the forthcoming "19 Deadly Sins of Software Security." Viega is also the co-designer of the GCM and CWC authenticated encryption modes. NIST has declared their intent to standardize one of these two, and GCM is already in IPSec and the draft IEEE 802.1 LinkSec standard.
