Companies are looking for integrated solutions on which they can build successful business. Interest in building solutions on open source software is increasing at an accelerated pace leading to companies seeking help to establish open source environments on which they will build their business. HP listened. For the past several years HP has been working with the open dource community to develop and deliver solutions to address customers open source needs.
In this presentation, Hewlett-Packards Dayne Medlyn discusses how HP is participating in the open source community, promoting the success of open source projects, and delivering integrated, tested, and supported total solution stacks that help make customers successful. The key contents include an example of a delivered total solution stack and what was learned about how open source developers and the Open Source community can make it easier to achieve success with customers.
