There seems to be a high correlation between programming aptitude and musical interest embodied by numerous individuals in each industry: producer and Mac developer Todd Rundgren, multi-instrumentalist and VR inventor Jaron Lanier, and Slow Gold developer and jazz guitarist Warren Sirota all come to mind. Some of us have the opportunity to build careers in both, while others can fuel one interest with the other.
