Time: 8:30pm - 9:30pm

Project GlassFish is the open sourcing of the Sun Java System Application Server PE 9.0 (SJS AS PE 9.0) which is expected to be the first robust, commercial-grade Java EE 5 compliant application server to be released as open source.
Join Jim Driscoll (Senior Engineering Manager for GlassFish),
Ken Drachnik (Group Marketing Manager for GlassFish) and Ted
Schuh (Java EE Marketing Manager) for a discussion of what GlassFish is all about and find out how to join the community.
Learn about the practices and processes used to develop SJS AS PE 9.0. Compatibility, marketing requirements, changing specifications, new features, unit tests, integrating external technologies and freeze dates all play a part when developing Sun's next generation application server. Come discuss how sometimes competing requirements are juggled to produce nightly builds, weekly promoted builds, and milestone releases for SJS AS PE 9.0. Please come get involved and share your ideas and suggestions.
