BOF Free Radio - a new open source radio automation project Track: BOF Date: Wednesday, August 3rd, 2005 Time: 8:30pm - 9:30pm Location: E142 Bill Goldsmith has just released his software for RadioParadise.com to the open source community. This station automation package is written in PHP and provides streaming and broadcast station operators with a fantastic alternative to expensive and monolithic commercial programs currently on the market. Now all it needs are a few good programmers to project this project into the future. Free Radio is currently in use at RadioParadise.com and is an ideal software for small streaming stations, community stations and new LPFM stations. There is a market need in the radio world and a few good programmers can make a difference.
