This presentation will introduce Oregon's "open ecosystem" that involves industry leadership from IBM and Intel, the Open Source Development Labs (OSDL), Oregon State University's Open Source Lab, and the first business incubator dedicated to open technology start-up companies. With public endorsement and support from the Governor of Oregon and regional government leadership, this public-private partnership is collaborating to build the foundation for accelerated innovation in and adoption of open technology. The speaker will describe some of the innovative support programs that have been launch as a result of this coalition.
