Matthew Porter is the co-founder of Metissian, a J2EE software development company, and Contegix, a managed hosting company dedicated to Linux, Mac OS X, and J2EE. Matthew has been developing in Java since 1996 and has presented at national conferences such as JavaOne. As a proponent and user of open source, Matthew has contributed to various open source projects. He has been developing applications with WebWork2 since its early pre-releases in April 2003. Matthew has a BS in Computer Science from Saint Louis University. When not working, he spends time with his wife and two beautiful children.
