LaVonne is the founder and director of a first-of-its-kind new business incubator focused on open technology start-ups. She has more than 20 years experience as an executive, consultant and lawyer in the high technology arena. She first encountered the challenges of open sourcing a proprietary platform as CEO of Cenquest, a venture-backed start-up.

Before starting Cenquest, Reimer practiced law and taught as an adjunct professor at OGI School of Science and Engineering at OHSU and Northwestern School of Law. Her legal experience includes Townsend and Townsend (patent, copyright and trademark), Ater, Wynne (venture law) and in-house corporate counsel at Tektronix.
