During this talk we describe the new row-based replication (MySQL 5.1) and explain when it is better to use row-based replication and when is it better to use the MySQL-traditional statement-based replication. We continue to explain how row-based replication is used for non-deterministic statements, triggers, and stored procedures.

A scenario with replication from a MySQL Cluster having multiple connected MySQL servers to a remote cluster or stand-alone MySQL server is explained, and we conclude with a discussion about conflict handling and multisource replication. These latter two features are currently being developed.
