Django is a high-level web development framework for rapid development of database-backed web sites and applications.
This presentation will cover the philosophy and culture behind the development of Django, and then move quickly into the development of a simple application in Django. We'll look at how Django's admin interface makes data-entry (almost) pleasant, how its template language encourages developers to follow best-practices, and poke at a few other particularly slick aspects of Django.
