Thanks to TextMate and Ruby on Rails, Macs have become the preferred platform for many Ruby developers. In addition, Ruby's similarity to Objective-C makes it an attractive choice for many Mac OS X projects. This session will demonstrate some of the upcoming Ruby technologies to help developers make the most of current and future versions of Mac OS X. We will cover best practices for upgrading the built-in Ruby distribution, Cocoa and Apple Events integration, and other nifty tips and tricks.
