SQLite is a small embedded relational database with a large number of potential applications. It can be found in everything from cell phones and PDAs to web applications and the web browsers that render them, to commercial operating systems such as Sun's Solaris 10 and Mac OS X.
This presentation covers SQLite's design, operation, capabilities, and limitations, providing developers with a better idea of how, when, and where to best put it to use in their applications.
