Digital identities have moved beyond the introduction state and are gaining momentum in the mainstream. OpenID and InfoCards are two of these technologies. Rather than competing technologies, as many people think, they are actually complementary. Using the Serendipity weblog application, Richards will demonstrate how these technologies can be integrated into a PHP application, while at the same time explaining some of the issues that will arise and that must be worked through not only in code, but also in system architecture as well.
