Based on Learning Ruby (O'Reilly, 2007), participants will learn the basics of the Ruby programming language. The course will cover Ruby idioms, reserved words, conditionals, and classes. It will also cover strings, arrays, hashes, blocks, procs, files, and include a brief introduction to Rails.
