Jimmy Wales, founder of Wikia and Wikipedia, discusses the business models of search with an eye on the question of whether the destiny of search is to be proprietary or open source. Basing his arguments on the business model of search (advertising, not proprietary software sales), Wales will argue that the future of search is open source.
