Speaker

Amy Hoy

Lead Interaction Designer, Lime Wire, LLC

Amy Hoy is well-known (possibly infamous) for her Ruby on Rails-oriented blog and shiny Rails cheat sheets. An almost immediate convert after stumbling onto Rails in November of 2004, she has attempted to inform and amuse others on the same path. She continues to pursue that goal through _Ruby on Rails Right-Brained Guide_, her long-in-coming book for Pragmatic Programmers. In addition to 24 glorious months of Rails (and a RailsDay grand prize win), Amy can lay claim to six years of PHP development experience and eight years of web design experience. In her day job, Amy guides the interface and iteraction for a web-based product developed in Rails.
