Chris Lattner is the founder and architect of the LLVM Project (http://llvm.org) and is manager+tech-lead of the LLVM Group at Apple Inc. Chris has a broad range of interests and experience in compiler implementation, programming language design/interoperability, and operating systems. Chris has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign.
