David McNett
David McNett is a senior developer and systems engineer for United Devices. In addition to his commercial distributed computing work, Mr. McNett is a founding board member and president of distributed.net, a not-for-profit general-purpose distributed computing effort. Since 1997, distributed.net has grown to become the longest-running project of its kind in the world. He has worked professionally managing information technologies and developing process control automation software for a variety of industries as an independent consultant. In his spare time, Mr. McNett likes to advocate the use of strong cryptography and Internet privacy.
