Lead programmer Eric Promislow and other members of the Komodo dev team will introduce you to the first unified workspace for end-to-end development of dynamic web applications, Komodo IDE--the only true IDE for Ruby on Rails.

We'll take you on a quick tour of Komodo's indispensable features for working with Rails, including professional productivity tools, the Ruby debugger, the JavaScript debugger, syntax checking, integrated code fix, and the HTTP Inspector for monitoring (and even changing) calls to web sites.

Then we'll dig into Komodo IDE's extensibility. It's built on top of Mozilla, so you can create extensions using the same concepts and technologies as the Firefox folks. Komodo users are all over this already--we'll be announcing the winners of the Komodo IDE Extensibility Challenge at the BOF!
