The consensus for defining Web 3.0 seems to be around making sense of data. Characterizing it, storing it searching it and sharing it. If Web 2.0 was around user created content, Web 3.0 will be around "data created" content.

We need better tools to store extract and make meaning of data. What are the best standards for data interchange today? XML is a skeleton. W3C's work is nascent? Let's share our best knowledge and expertise around this subject.
