Deploying scalable Rails applications has never been easier: Amazon's Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) service provides endless servers on a minute's notice. RightScale lets you manage them easily and can automatically scale your deployment in response to load changes. We will describe our experience in running the multiserver RightScale service (a Rails app itself) on EC2 as well as scaling Tunecore's exponentially increasing load onto EC2.
