Product Manager, ScienceDirect

Ale de Vries is Product Manager at ScienceDirect, Elsevier's industry-leading platform for full-text scientific content. His areas of responsibility are access management, linking, interoperability, and 3rd-party service integration. Also, he oversees ScienceDirect's product line for the Corporate (non-academic) markets. Current focal points in his portfolio are federated authentication, collaborating with major search engine like Google, and infrastructure development.

Ale started off at Elsevier as a usage analyst in 2002, after obtaining his degree in Engineering Management.
