Born in Granite City, Illinois, USA, yentlsoup led an unremarkable childhood in the land of Garrison Keillor. Upon reaching man's estate, she headed to Alaska, where a promising career in the fish-canning industry was cut tragically short after just a few short days, due to a complete inability to tolerate dead fish for extended periods of time. Deprived of her one, true, calling, yentlsoup wandered aimlessly for over a decade, when chance intervened, in the form of the key to the server room of a small consulting company. Unaware that she was to lock herself _outside_ the server room, yentlsoup disappeared for over two years. When she emergered, her place in cyberspace was sealed: the packets beckoned, and she could do naught but heed the call.
