Paul Alexander is currently teaching at California State University, Monterey Bay where he introduces students to computing and the social sciences. He was born and raised in Silicon Valley and his interest in FOSS started when he tried to install Linux on an old 286 12 years ago. Since then, Paul has implemented innovative tech solutions and evangelized FOSS in all of his work environments. He makes extensive use of FOSS in all aspects of his work as a professor, from Ubuntu to Drupal to OpenOffice.org.
