Bill Gleason does research and teaches in the Department of Laboratory Medicine & Pathology
at the University of Minnesota Medical School. He is also a fellow of the Minnesota Supercomputer Institute
. One current research interest is the use of parallel computing, especially on Linux clusters, for practical applications in computational biology and medicine. Bill was co-developer of an early protein analysis package (PAP) and continues to take a "tools approach" in his research related to biological structure.
